Casa do Ferreiro is a beautifully renovated authentic schist (slate) house from 1907, located in the village of Bocado (Folques, Arganil) at an altitude of approximately 500 meters above sea level in Central Portugal.

This rustic village is nestled in the enchanting natural surroundings of the Serra de Arganil, where the stunning landscape invites you to relax and unwind. Experience the charm of bygone times combined with the comfort of modern amenities in this unique holiday home.

The spacious house is spread over three floors and offers a warm, homely atmosphere. The cozy living room with a pellet stove, the kitchen with a wood-burning stove, two bathrooms, a sleeping loft, and two comfortable bedrooms make it the ideal place for a relaxing stay.

Accommodating 1–6 people, Casa do Ferreiro is rented out exclusively to one family or group, ensuring complete privacy with no need to share the space with others.

The sleeping loft and one of the bedrooms, which features an ensuite bathroom, are designed as master bedrooms with luxurious double beds, perfect for a restful night's sleep.

The second bedroom is equipped with two comfortable single sofa beds, making the space versatile as both a bedroom and a relaxation area. This room opens onto the sun terrace, an ideal spot to roll out your yoga mat in the morning sun for an invigorating start to the day.

Outside, a charming terraced garden awaits. Relax on a sun lounger by the pool (coming autumn 2025), find shade under the fruit trees or the natural grapevine canopy, or enjoy meals at the large picnic table next to the pizza and bread oven. A barbecue is also available, perfect for cooking outdoors on warm evenings.
